Seiko Watch
Had a fun and challenging shoot today shooting dads old Seiko Watch. Key word being OLD! As it was for an assignment i had to make it look new again and make it look good. Im reasonably happy at how it turned out.
Heres a quick look at the lighting setup. 3 Soft boxes, a bare bulb with a reflector, a small gridded snoot and a very large reflector.
And heres the final result. Pretty happy with it, a few scratches and dings had to be removed in post!

Shooting in the dark
Had a fun shoot with Ryan Taylor tonight. The goal was to capture some bullets and muzzle flashes in the shots, and if you look closely we managed to do it.
We decided on a system of 1..2..3..bang and mixed it up with a few 1..2..bang..3s and 3..2..bang..1s but eventually we sorted our timing issues and got some very cool looking shots.
Its not every day you get to stare down the barrel of a gun!
If you look closely in the trees there is a bullet in this shot....its not completely frozen by the flashes, but its there! Mission successful!

New Zealand v South Africa
Last night was a great game between SA and NZ. Being on the field makes things a little bit more special as well. South Africa got off to a slow start and finished on a score that was never enough with Martin Guptil being in the form of is life! Had dinner with Simon Doul and got on tv about 46392 times.....good day all round.
